Budapest’s 38th Spring Festival Starts Off this Weekend

After these long days of freezing wintertime Budapest comes alive again. The annual Spring Festival is literally the largest cultural event of the Hungarian capital. The festival takes place at different venues throughout the city. The 23 days-long event welcomes dozens of local and international artists and performers to the 38th annual Spring Festival Budapest.

The event will start off on the 30th of March and will run until the 22nd of April. The event is highly recommended for those who love both classical and contemporary arts. Visitors will have a chance to choose from over 50 performances and exhibitions. As the part of the event the Opera House of Budapest will launch The Queen of Spades from Tchaikovsky while the Budapest Jazz Club will celebrate the “feast of Hungarian Jazz”. The worldwide-known Palace of Arts will welcome a series of classical concerts and great plays in its’ theatre.
